Prototypes and Custom Work.

Conway Stewart engraving prototype. Construction is Conway Stewart "RDA" silver barrels, section, and finials. These were used as experimental engraving/guilloché platforms during the development and production of the MetalWrite "RR" series. This pattern was used in the Argent Blue Slipstream Basketweave series.

Cap barrel made for a customer who wanted to add a high-end embellishment to a kit pen
Cap and main barrel for an urushi experiment. These engraved barrels were to lie under several layers of urushi laquer giving the smooth lacquered surface some interesting depth
Parker replicas of the Duofold International and the Duofold Centennial. The Damascus steel stock for the barrels was made by Robert Eggerling. These were the first two pens I ever made. They are not for sale.
Custom Damascus pen made for a customer. The steel was again made by Robert Eggerling
Round body Damascus pen with a Parker Duofold Centennial nib. This steel was forged by Chris Marks and the cap was re-forged and twisted by me. Is has nice differential and matching heat coloring. The cap snaps on and off - no threads.
